Dear Parents,

I can’t believe that tomorrow is the beginning of November. Where has the year gone? Once again can I thank the FSG on the wonderful job they all did in the organisation of the 60th Anniversary celebrations. Their worked enhanced the wonderful performances from our children and the Art show. A great success all round not only from a monetary point of view but from a community sense. A fabulous night!

The next fundraiser is getting us closer to our goal of raising $15,000 this year towards the new playground, is the School Fun Run. On Friday 29th November from 12:30pm onwards, at Edwards Reserve near South Kingsville Kinder, the children will take part in the school colour fun run. The focus of the day is about having fun and being active therefore in relation to sponsorship, it is a participation donation rather than pertaining to a certain distance. The children are invited to wear colourful casual clothes on the day. Further details will be provided in the coming week.

Tonight a group of our Grade 3 children are making their First Reconciliation. Congratulations to Maja, Isabelle, Savio, Marko, Oliver, Finbar, Ryan, Ethan, Diego, Adelaide, Luke, Lily, Ruby Lily and Paige. We wish them all the very best for their special night.

Just a reminder that on Monday 4th November we have a school closure for report writing. Also there is the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday on Tuesday 5th November. Children will return to school on Wednesday 6th November.

Have a great long weekend!

Emmanuel College

Congratulations to the outstanding group of senior students commissioned, at the College assembly, as College Leaders for 2020. They provided powerful reflections on how the Marianist identity of the College informs their leadership in committing to their roles of service. It was also exciting to welcome, to our recent information evening, the parents of our 2020 Year 7s – the Class of 2025! Best wishes to our Year 9s as they embark on their Outdoor Education and Life to the Full Camps this week, to our Year 12s as they commence their final exams and to our Year 11s and 10s as they approach their final week of revision for their upcoming exams.

Fees & Levies

A big thank you to all families who have already settled their school fees for the year. Unfortunately we still have $50,000 outstanding. This is a substantial amount of money that could be utilised to support resources and students learning. At this time of the year all our suppliers accounts need finalising and we depend on this money for that purpose.

We are asking that these accounts be settled before the end of the month unless you have already made an agreement with the school. If you are having difficulties with payments, consider doing a payment plan, small amounts deposited into our account each fortnight soon add up, and please speak with our Principal, Andrea Richards.

Direct Debit         * Please note: Credit Card payments can be made over the phone or at  the office.
