This year for Christmas, we are raised $305.00 for St Vincent De Paul thanks to our very generous school community.

If you are interested in donating further a decision has been made that St Vinnies won't be collecting goods from our parish for their Christmas Appeal this year.

What the Society does ask though is that you please consider making a contribution to their Christmas Appeal by donating funds at this website: https://donate.vinnies.org.au/christmas-appeal . When you do donate, there is an area that is entitled "Comments/Conference Name". If you note down there "NEWPORT CONFERENCE" in this field, then those funds will be made available to help those in need in our area. If you have any questions, please do feel free to contact Ante at the Newport St. Vinnies Conference by emailing antedotcom@hotmail.com

Melbourne Water contractors will be inspecting the conditions of sewer manhole and its internal fittings located near the corner of Cullen Street and Hudsons Road, Spotswood.

The work will begin next Monday and will happen continuously across both day and night time hours as some works can only be done during ‘low flow’ hours which is generally after midnight till early morning.

To ensure that the workers can enter the manholes safely and to keep local sewerage services operating Melbourne Water will need to install temporary sewer bypass pipes and pumping system. The pipes will sit above the ground and run from the corner of The Avenue and Cullen Street, down the length of Cullen Street, across both Mary Street and Hudsons Road before ending on the corner of Cullen Street and Hudsons Road.

As you can see from the map above, some streets will only be open to local and foot traffic so if you normally come to school this way you will need to seek an alternative route.

Introducing the most gorgeous Lucy Mae Hanson…

Last Friday, Ms Jo Varga (one of our past teachers) along with her Husband Daryl Hanson welcomed their first beautiful baby into the world. Their little ray of sunshine, Lucy Mae has captured their hearts and is enjoying lots of snuggles from Mum and Dad.

We wish them a lifetime of love, cuddles and giggles.
